DIDLab Swap FAQ
Quick answers for classroom DEX sessions. Need more detail? Browse the AMM learning page or inspect the live contracts on Blockscout ↗.
Why do I see multiple “TT” tokens in MetaMask?
MetaMask lists every token you have added across networks. Only TrustToken at 0xe15a77668A01A90c57c8F4De0021e12DF933CBD5 is valid on DIDLab Besu. Remove lookalikes or rename entries to avoid confusion.
What’s WTRUST and why do I need it?
WTRUST is Wrapped TRUST—the native gas coin tokenized as an ERC-20 so AMMs can pool it. The swap UI surfaces WTRUST for liquidity tasks that involve native assets; everyday swaps between TT and LabUSDT do not require wrapping TRUST manually.
Where do I get TRUST gas or LabUSDT?
Request TRUST at https://faucet.didlab.org for transaction fees. LabUSDT is classroom-only and minted by the TA/on-ramp wallet—use the contact info shared in your syllabus. Keep both balances healthy before starting a swap or liquidity exercise.
Can I withdraw to an exchange or bridge this to mainnet?
No. DIDLab Swap operates on a private Besu network for teaching purposes. LabUSDT and TT have no monetary value and cannot be bridged or traded on public exchanges.
